Why do I choose Dubai for my shopping?

The beautiful city of the United Arab Emirates is well known for being the city where everything is rich, big and luxurious. Dubai's hospitality and grandeur attracts millions of visitors every year who come to enjoy the most luxurious hotels, the famous Burj Khalifa, the palm-shaped artificial island, the gigantic aquarium, the covered ski resort, etc.

One of the things that attract tourists the most is the wonderful shops in Dubai. Indeed, shopping here is almost a national sport. There's nothing here you can't buy. Whether its electronics, jewelry, designer brands or luxury items, you'll find even better than what you're looking for.

The main Dubai shopping malls are open every day until midnight; to give you time to live your dream to the end. And in August 2018, the world's largest Apple store will open its doors right next to the Dubai Mall. You will then have an almost unlimited choice to choose your technological devices.

In Dubai, shopping addicts feel heaven. There's something for everyone, while you'll find what you're looking for, whether you're looking for brand-name products or handcrafted products. Dubai markets offer a huge range of handmade products and gigantic luxury stores will fill you for luxury brands and products.

The places not to miss for shopping are of course the Dubai Mall which is one of the largest Dubai shopping centers in the world, the Deira Gold Souk which is a traditional market and Global village, one of the main cultural and family entertainment attractions of the city. For those who want to buy electronic devices, the best place to go is Al Fahidi Street. This street is lined with electronic shops and appliances that are much cheaper than in the rest of the world since Dubai is a tax-free country.

If you come to Dubai from July 22, you will have the chance to enjoy the Dubai Summer Surprises. This great event, so long awaited every year, allows you to escape the stifling heat of summer by Dubai shopping, while enjoying sales and fun activities designed for the whole family.

If you also want to come shopping in the wonderful city of Dubai, apply online for your Visa for Dubai and come to spend a unique moment in these gigantic stores.

Grab your chance to be a part of Al Gaffal Dhow Race

Al Gaffal Dhow Race

3 May - 13 May 2018

Dubai

Every year since 1991 the great Al Gaffal Dhow Race takes place in Dubai. It is a 50 nautical mile race that commemorates the return of pearl fishermen who were returning home after long months at sea. Participants in this race must be from the Emirates and will leave the uninhabited island of Sir Bu Na'air to join the Dubai coast at Burj Al Arab.
This year, this water race will take place between May 3rd and 13th. The crews of the ships will sail on dhows longer than 18 meters (the famous traditional Arab ships) in order to win awards worth millions of dirhams.

Every year, an audience from everywhere comes to see this race. It is rare to find an event reserved exclusively for native people, and this is one of the reasons why this race is an event essential to the national identity. In addition, the Al Gaffal Dhow Race is organized by the royal family. The main backer is Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Royal Highness. This is a rather extraordinary event, knowing also that the ships and the itirenary are rich in history. The race passes through the most impressive places on the Dubai coast and the road is the same as the one fishermen used to take when they returned from their long sea voyage, hence the name of the race "Al Gaffal" which means "the return" in Arabic.
This race is really something beautiful to behold. Seeing these hundreds of ships arriving along the beautiful coasts of Dubai is a privileged moment. If you are interested in attending this spectacular event, feel free to apply online for Dubai Visa. You can come and see the race from several places. Ferries will be specially chartered for the occasion to follow the race meadows, but you can also admire the large white sails from just about anywhere from the coast. Between Mina Seyahi and Burj al-Arab, the atmosphere is very nice and the spectacles magnificent since the ships pass very close.

Dubai is a heavenly spot and here everything is bigger and brighter than anywhere. Whether it's to see its beautiful beaches, the tallest tower, the fastest elevator, the largest fountain, the largest shopping mall in the world or the only 7-star hotel on earth, you'll be even more impressed than you think. So what are you waiting for to see this exceptional water race and enjoy this luxurious, ultramodern and fascinating city? Take your Visa to Dubai, and expect you to spend an extraordinary holiday in Dubai.

Things to do at Dubai Canal

So, if you are planning your Dubai Visa or Express Dubai Visa, let me help you a bit by adding one more enchanting attraction of Dubai to your travel itinerary. Dubai Canal is over three kilometres long and features amazing entertainment options at the canal side itself including shopping centre, walkways, cycling paths, restaurants and much more. The three-kilometer long project starts from Business Bay into the Persian Gulf through Safa Park and Jumeirah. The canal can be crossed by bridges which offer the most picturesque views of the city and surroundings particularly at the night.

So, if you are free in evening and just want to stroll around, then head to Dubai Canal for a leisurely walk at the pedestrian walkways and footpaths. The streetlights around the canals end up illuminating it beautifully and you can even enjoy the gorgeous fountains that start at 8 pm and continue till 10 pm at night. There are no tickets to watch the water fountains here or to stroll across this beautiful place. If you want to enjoy the evening and the beautiful sunset, reach the canal side before sunset for the enchanting vista around that follows the sunset. From the banks of the canal, you will get some mesmerizing views of the Dubai’s skyline, so carry your camera along for some beautiful pictures of this beautiful city at canal side.

You will even find the sitting areas around the canal and the greenery is just like the cherry on the top making the place even more beautiful and tranquil. One of the bridges of the canal with the blue arc can be crossed even by the cyclists and is inspired by Golden Gate Bridge of San Francisco. The beautifully illuminated area of the canal is indeed a perfect attraction to visit if you are free during evening and not visiting any particular attraction of Dubai.  There are five pedestrian bridges which connect both the sides of canal and there is an esplanade “The Walk” which connects with Jumeirah Beach Running Track and is the perfect place for the joggers with a continuous track.

So, if you want to just stroll and explore the charm of Dubai yourself, then this short evening tour to Dubai Canal can be a perfect addition to your travel itinerary.
